Welcome to Wilfong Farms
Located in Pocahontas County, West Virginia, we have 1150 head of commercial ewes, 800 brood cows, and yearling cattle. We invite your family to take part of agri-tourism by visiting our farm at one of our great events!
Meet the Wilfong Family
Charles and Michelle met during high school as active members of the Pocahontas and Moorefield FFA Chapters. Michelle has since obtained a degree in Agriculture and Extension Education from WVU and Charles is now a full-time farmer.
Today, Charles and his dad work side by side with assistance from close family members, along with Michelle and Charles' son CW. The family works tirelessly to bring farm-fresh products to the area while also offering unique events and opportunities to get the community and youth excited about sustainable farming.
Benefits of Buying from Farms
Helps Local Economy
Keep Farmers in Business
Knowing where your meat comes from and how it is raised leads to a healthier lifestyle; being aware of your local farmers' practices will ensure that you are buying and consuming foods that are free from added hormones, antibiotics, preservatives and/or chemicals. Additionally, shopping locally keeps 4 times the amount of money in your community’s economy compared to shopping at chains, and supports small family-run farms, the backbone of what built America.
